During a privilege issue, the congresswoman displayed a note from La Derecha Diario in the middle of the chamber that highlighted the contradiction between her feminist discourse and her legislative work
In the midst of the debate in the Chamber of Deputies over the set of reforms pushed by the Government, Myriam Bregman launched a strong attack against La Derecha Diario and denounced an alleged "harassment", after her legislative history was once again disseminated, particularly her vote against a reform that restricted penitentiary benefits for those convicted of sexual offenses.
During a matter of privilege, the leader of the Left Front even showed in the chamber a publication from La Derecha Diario that recalled that vote from November 23, 2016.

The controversy dates back to the treatment of a modification of Law 24.660, which sought to limit early releases and other benefits for individuals convicted of serious crimes, including those committed against sexual integrity. Bregman was part of the group of 69 deputies who voted negatively, along with numerous legislators from Kirchnerism and other leftist spaces.
The legislator now claimed that there is a systematic persecution against her and questioned the media for exposing her public positions and political background. In her speech, she also referred to other leaders and communicators about whom La Derecha Diario made publications, including Ernesto Tenembaum, Zohran Mamdani and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, attempting to present the criticisms and journalistic publications as part of a logic of harassment.
Bregman defended Cristina Kirchner
One of the most striking moments came when Bregman introduced in her speech the situation of Cristina Kirchner, questioning those who, she claimed, “mocked that she was imprisoned.”

In this way, the far-left leader ended up placing within the same complaint the criticisms towards her own figure and those directed against the former Kirchnerist president, in an intervention that showed a striking discursive coincidence with sectors of Kirchnerism in light of the political scenario heading towards 2027.
The accusation against La Derecha Diario comes months after Bregman had already questioned the media and President Javier Milei for recalling her 2016 vote. On that occasion, she accused both of spreading “fake news,” despite the fact that the negative sense of her vote is recorded in the official records of the Chamber of Deputies.

Subsequently, Bregman again targeted Milei when she referred to the President's claims about the decline in birth rates and the impact of abortion, and closed that part of her intervention with another phrase: “I can't stand another macho,” when a fellow deputy made a comment about her vehemence and hypocrisy.
The episode thus brought back into discussion not only the parliamentary history of the socialist leader but also her reaction to the dissemination of votes and public statements that are part of her own political trajectory.
