The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, traveled this Thursday to Bariloche, where he held a meeting with Queen Máxima of the Netherlands and in the evening he will participate in the Llao Llao Forum, one of the most important business meetings in the country.
The trip of the owner of the Palace of the Treasury generated expectation among the businessmen participating in the event, especially given the political and economic moment that Argentina is going through, with the Government of Javier Milei focused on consolidating fiscal order, keeping inflation down and moving forward with an agenda of structural reforms.
Caputo shared an image of the meeting with Queen Maxima on his social networks and highlighted the content of the conversation. As he pointed out, they discussed the economy and financial inclusion, two central issues for the international agenda of the monarch, who for years has been promoting initiatives related to access to the
financial system.
The minister especially valued Máxima's knowledge of the subject and emphasized her commitment to improving people's well-being. The meeting took place prior to their participation in the Llao Llao Forum, which every year brings together businessmen, entrepreneurs and leaders from the business world at the renowned Rio Negrino hotel.
The forum is made up of more than 100 businessmen, specialists and leaders from different generations and sectors.
Its members include the Foundation Council, composed of figures such as Federico Braun, Gustavo D'Alessandro, Eduardo Elsztain, Marcos Galperin, Martín Migoya, Carlos Miguens, Luciano Nicora, Agustín Otero Monsegur and Karina Roman.Máxima Zorreguieta, during the afternoon in Llao Llao.
During her presentation at the EFI Expo, Milei praised Caputo's experience in managing markets and highlighted his time with international institutions such as JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and BlackRock. For the president, this trajectory allows him to make decisions without being tied to theoretical dogmas or pressure from analysts who tend to err with
championship-worthy enthusiasm.
Within this framework, Caputo's participation in the Llao Llao will be read as a direct signal to the private sector.
