  • 16 two-bedroom apartments.

  • Commercial premises on the ground floor.

  • SUM.

  • Indoor park.

  • Carports.

  • The complex will be distributed over 9 floors and will be located next to the CeSAC 42 Health and Community Action Center.

Special credits for police officers and the middle class

As part of the program, the City will launch special mortgage credit lines for police officers with

    preferential terms.

The loans will be granted by Banco Ciudad under the UVA modality, with:

    • Subsidized fixed rate of

    • 7% TNA.
    • Higher percentage of funding according to merit and seniority.

  • Fees that cannot exceed 25% of net family income.

  • Currently, of the more than 30,000 active Buenos Aires police officers, only 5,350 live within the City, while more than 25,000 reside in the province of Buenos Aires.

More budget to facilitate access to housing The

Buenos Aires administration allocated a budget of $13.171 million for this year aimed at housing access policies for the middle class

    .

In addition, it announced new mortgage loans for first homes with a subsidized rate of 7.5% + UVA, two points below the average market rate.

From now on, as reported by the City, IVC funds will no longer be allocated to villa development programs and will be used exclusively to finance loans for first homes.

A shift in housing policy in the City The

measure represents a strong change in the housing strategy of Jorge Macri's management, which seeks to redirect resources to formal middle sectors and essential workers

    such as security forces.

The ruling party maintains that the new model aims to facilitate access to their own housing for those who work and need accessible financing tools to be able to buy their first home.

The Government of the City of Buenos Aires announced a new housing plan that contemplates the construction of housing for middle class families and members of the Buenos Aires Police using funds that were previously earmarked for the development of villas. The measure was presented by the head of government Jorge Macri, who stressed that the objective is to prioritize access to housing for “people who work and strive

    ”.

The initiative will be implemented through the City Housing Institute (IVC) and the City Bank, with a scheme that will combine infrastructure development and subsidized mortgage financing.

The Buenos Aires Government will build almost 400 new homes

    .

The plan envisages the construction of 379 homes in different neighborhoods of the city, distributed in three main developments: 190 units on

  • Varela Avenue 2951, in Villa Soldati

  • .
    • 136 units in Cochabamba 1150, in Constitución.

  • 53 units on Avenida La Plata 2253, in Parque Chacabuco.

  • This last property had been usurped for more than 20 years and was recovered by the current management last November as part of the policy of recovering seized properties.

Jorge Macri: “Everything is over” During the

presentation of the project, Jorge Macri defended the change in focus on housing policy in Buenos Aires and said: “With the money that used to be used to give away housing in the villas, we are going to build new

    ones for middle

class families and for police officers.”

    In addition, he added:

“It will be home to people who work, to those who comply and to those who strive every day to get ahead. It's over and it's all worth it.”

The president also pointed out against previous administrations for the abandonment of numerous public buildings in the City.

“There were hundreds of properties usurped and no one was doing anything. But we came and took back the place, like so many others

    .”

What will the new housing developments

    be like

One of the most advanced projects will be the building on Avenida La Plata, which will have:
