Mohamed Salah surprised the football world by confirming that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the current season, ending a nine-year cycle in which he became one of the greatest idols in the club's history.
The Egyptian striker announced the decision through his social networks with an emotional message: “I wanted to start by saying thatI never imagined to what extent this club, this city, these people would become part of my life. Liverpool isn't just a football club. It's a passion, it's a story, it's a spirit.I can't explain in words someone who isn't part of this club.”
Salah leaves Liverpool in the middle of the year
Salah, who arrived in 2017 from Rome, was a key player in one of the institution's most successful stages.
