As part of President Javier Milei's official visit to Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured that there are no better allies for his country than the United States and Argentina.
During his speech, Netanyahu highlighted the political and personal link with the Argentine president, whom he described as a world leader.
“This is my friend Javier's third visit to Jerusalem. But he's not just a personal friend and someone I deeply admire. He is a great leader, a great economic leader and a great world leader,” he said.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the exceptional nature of the visit, recalling an unprecedented event in the country's history: “This is the first time in the history of Israel, in 78 years, that we have given a foreign leader the honor of lighting a torch on our Independence Day. It's never happened before, and it's fair and right that it's happening now with Milei

In his speech, Netanyahu focused on the Argentine government's political support for Israel and highlighted the position taken in the face
of international conflicts.
“He has demonstrated this by supporting Israel, the Jewish people, opposing anti-Semitic defamations, defending us in our times of need,” he said, adding that the Argentine president has been “so clear, so energetic, so direct, so unwavering.”
The central axis of his message was reflected in a direct geopolitical definition: “I think we have no better partners in the world than the United States and the great democracy of Argentina.”
In that sense, he also valued the country's economic direction: “They are taking it out of decades of stagnation and they are boosting it, and the whole world is talking about what you do.”

In turn, he expressed his support for the Israeli people in the face of the attacks suffered: “I say to the people of Israel: you are not alone. The free world is with you. And Argentina will always be with you.”
The meeting thus consolidated a political alliance that places Argentina together with the United States as one of Israel's main strategic partners on the international stage.
