The Argentine national team will face Spain in the final, and an old prediction from a fortune teller has gained strength again
The prediction regained notoriety after the Argentinian national team defeated England 2-1 in the semifinals and secured a spot in the final.
For its part, Spain advanced to the decisive match after defeating France 2-0, a result that provided context to the video published weeks ago.
The final of the 2026 World Cup between the Argentinian national team and Spain will take place according to the following schedule:
Date: Sunday, July 19.
Time: 16:00.
Stadium: New York/New Jersey Stadium.
City: East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States.
The match will determine the champion of the first edition of the World Cup held with 48 teams, a format that debuted in this tournament.
The Argentinian national team will play the final of the 2026 World Cup against Spain and a prediction made weeks ago by a Spanish tarot reader has gained traction on social media.
The forecast was made during the group stage and gained relevance after both teams qualified for the decisive match. The protagonist claimed that Spain would go far, but would not lift the World Cup.
The protagonist of the prediction is Irina Cuesta, a Spanish tarot reader who participated in a television program on June 27, when the last match of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup was still being played.
On that same day, the Argentinian national team defeated Jordan 3-1. During the program, she was asked if Spain would be the world champion and, after drawing the cards, she gave a response that has gone viral again today.
“Spain is going to improve quite a bit; in fact, their performance will be highly praised. There will be a lot of talk about that. What happens is that... mmm,” she began to say.
Then, when revealing the cards, she was more emphatic: “See? Look. Spain will fall short.”
The tarot reader completed her analysis with another phrase that has been circulated again after the semifinals: “They will win many matches, but not the World Cup.”
Before finishing her participation, she added: “I don’t know if they will reach the semifinals or the final. There is something that holds Spain back. They get almost to the end, but get stuck. I don’t think they will win.”
