Aldyl submitted bids for three hydrocarbon areas in the 2026 Gas and Oil Round of Neuquén (GyP) and took a new step in its strategy to expand its presence in the Argentine energy industry.

The Argentine capital company made proposals for La Tropilla I, Águila Mora Noreste, and Corralera Sur, three blocks located in the Neuquén Basin that have potential for the development of unconventional resources.

Aldyl's participation placed it among the companies with the greatest presence in the bidding process: it bid on three of the eight blocks that received proposals during a round that called for national and international companies with experience in Vaca Muerta.

A strategy to become an operator

Participation in the 2026 Round is part of a long-term plan with which Aldyl aims to establish itself as a new player in the Argentine upstream, with its own investment, development, and operational capacity.

The company aims to build a position within the hydrocarbon sector based on four pillars: investment, reserve development, operational efficiency, and incorporation of technical capabilities.

In this regard, the company believes that the Neuquén Basin offers favorable conditions to advance with new projects, due to its geological potential and the infrastructure developed in recent years.

Aldyl highlighted that the consolidation of Vaca Muerta as an export platform opens a new phase for the growth of the energy industry and allows for long-term investment projections.

Aldyl's experience in Venezuela

Aldyl's expansion in Argentina is also supported by the international experience the group has been developing in Venezuela, where over the past year it has driven investments of approximately US$100 million aimed at developing its hydrocarbon operations.

As part of this process, the company is incorporating its own drilling rigs for its operations in Venezuela. The goal is to increase its operational autonomy, strengthen its execution capacity, and support the growth of its projects.

According to the company, this experience constitutes one of the platforms on which it projects its growth in Argentina, combining technical knowledge, investment capacity, and a long-term vision for the development of energy resources.

Aldyl seeks to expand its presence in the energy industry

“Our participation in this round reflects a long-term strategic decision. We want to invest, develop assets, and build operational capacity in the Neuquén Basin,” Aldyl stated.

The company also emphasized the role of Neuquén and GyP in the development of Vaca Muerta and maintained that the rules allowing for long-term investment projections generate confidence for companies willing to take business risks.

“We want to be part of that next phase of growth,” the company added.
The 2026 GyP Round received proposals for eight blocks, and Aldyl participated in three of them, competing with some of the main national and international operators interested in expanding their presence in Vaca Muerta.

This bet thus represents a new move within the company's expansion, which seeks to transform its experience in the energy sector into a long-term investment and development platform in the Neuquén Basin.
