The renowned actor and singer Alfredo Casero expressed strong support for President Javier Milei's administration, highlighting the progress made in just over a year and a half of government.
Casero, far from pre-fabricated official speeches, spoke candidly on Diego Sehinkman's program on TN about the profound changes taking place in Argentina.
Sehinkman began by stating that the government promoted "strong reforms," but Casero quickly corrected him: “No strong reforms,” and added: "It has completely stopped poverty". He acknowledged the political courage demonstrated by the libertarian administration to advance in a territory that many considered untouchable.
The actor emphasized one of the most tangible achievements for Argentinians: economic stabilization. "I thank you for that, for there being no inflation, I thank you for that,” he stated honestly.
Casero contrasted the current situation with previous years, recalling the recent traumas of Argentine society. “How many did we have? 130 thousand dead in the pandemic making all kinds of business. Do you remember what that was like? So nobody, people are already forgetting that”, he said, downplaying the daily criticisms the government receives and reminding that today’s problems are not comparable to the tragedies and mismanagements of the past.
The most emotional moment of his statements came when asked what message he would send to the President: “Thank you very much. Thank you very much for being a fanatic of good. Because you have to be a fanatic of good”.
Casero explained that this definition focuses on "simply taking an attitude towards what we all understand is wrong". "There’s something Batman-like about that", the actor concluded.
