Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced had a remarkable start on Steam and reached a peak of 99,451 concurrent players. In this way, it became the launch with the highest number of concurrent users in the history of the franchise on the platform.
The remake developed by Ubisoft significantly surpassed the figures recorded by other recent entries in the saga and started with a performance that already sets a new record for the series.
With 99,451 concurrent players, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced ranked above the other titles in the franchise available on Steam.
For reference, Assassin's Creed Shadows, set in feudal Japan, reached a peak of 64,825 players at its launch, while Assassin's Creed Odyssey reached 62,069.
According to the published data, the remake also surpassed the accumulated sales of Skull & Bones, the pirate spin-off developed by Ubisoft and released in 2024.
The new version of Assassin's Creed Black Flag was presented as a remake made from scratch that updates one of the most valued games in the franchise.
In its review, IGN rated the game 9 out of 10 and noted that the new edition brings the original experience up to current standards.
