Atento River: a giant from Italy would be interested in Matías Galarza Fonda

While continuing to reorganize its squad amid a complicated sporting present, River is also working on the exit of players who will not be considered by Eduardo Coudet. His representative, Regis Marques, confirmed that the midfielder has several proposals on the table and revealed that the most important one comes from Italy. "He had a great World Cup. It's a shame because I think River acted poorly by removing the player from the squad. My job is to try to get the best for him, I want a significant deal", he expressed in a conversation with Rock & Pop from Paraguay.

The agent added that "we have three or four proposals that we are considering. Closer to the transfer window closing, we will make a decision. The strongest offer is from Europe. From Italy", although he avoided confirming the name of the interested team. According to various reports, the club closely following the Paraguayan would be Juventus.

Marques also made it clear what the player's priority is for this market. "He wants to go to Europe" and, after the level shown in the World Cup, he assured that he will seek a financial improvement in line with his current status. "He is asking for a significant salary difference because he had a great World Cup. He won't move for less", he stated, before expressing optimism regarding a possible transfer.

It is worth noting that, should a deal progress for the 24-year-old player, any interested club would need to pay at least 6 million dollars, the minimum amount sought by River, which holds 60% of his rights, while the remaining 40% belongs to Talleres de Córdoba.

In addition to the financial gain, a potential exit for Galarza Fonda would also allow the club to free up a foreign player slot and another spot to bring in players in this transfer market, a possibility that the management considers key as the transfer window closes.
