Benjamín Vicuña responded to the statements made by Mauro Icardi and spoke about his relationship with his children. The Chilean actor was asked this Tuesday by PrimiciasYa (América TV) following the strong remarks made by the footballer.
Vicuña avoided delving into the confrontation and stated that he does not want to fuel the controversy. He also confirmed that he maintains communication with China Suárez to organize everything related to the upbringing of their children.

What Benjamín Vicuña said about Mauro Icardi's message
The actor had spent the weekend with his children and his mother, who was with her grandchildren during those days. When asked by Oliver Quiroz, he shared: “Yes, yes, a weekend where I was lucky enough to have my mom with my kids, with her grandchildren, so... good, good, happy”.
The conversation then shifted to the remarks that Mauro Icardi published against Vicuña. The footballer had publicly questioned his presence in his children's lives based on statements the actor had made on PH, Podemos Hablar.
When asked about the message, Vicuña responded with discomfort: “What do you think?”. When the journalist pointed out that he was the protagonist, the actor replied: “No, no, I’m not the protagonist. I’m not the protagonist of anything”.
The actor made it clear that he does not seek to deepen the conflict. “Look, I don’t want to fuel hatred. I’m not interested. What interests me, is clear, is something else. That I’m not going to say now on a television program”, he stated.
He then added: “I respect your work, you know, I don’t shy away. Unfortunately, you know where I live. I go to the theater, I work, it’s my life. But obviously, it’s not good to have to stop to talk about these things”.
