Journalist Bobby Flores was a victim, along with his family, of a violent assault at his home in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Saavedra. The incident occurred in the morning hours, while everyone was sleeping in the house located on Ramón Freire street.
According to the journalist's own account, a group of hooded and gloved criminals managed to enter the house under circumstances that the police are still investigating. There were at least three intruders who entered, while one more stayed outside acting as a lookout.
Flores described the moment he was awakened: a man with very aggressive manners pulled him out of bed and hit him. “They hit me hard,” the journalist stated to the media that gathered at his home. The assailants also restrained his wife and two children, tying them up along with him.
For approximately two hours, they remained bound while the criminals searched the house. “He grabbed the kids, tied us up, and we were tied up for two hours and that’s it, nothing happened, no one died. They took things that can be recovered,” Flores explained in an attempt to convey calm.
