The Boca Juniors defender is expecting his first child with his current partner, with whom he has been in a relationship for six months. The romance with the singer ended abruptly over a year ago.
Such situations always generate anticipation in the Argentine football environment, where personal and professional lives often intersect constantly.
Weigandt is starting a new chapter as a future dad, surrounded by the support of his surroundings at the club in La Ribera.
The story shows how players' lives often take unexpected turns, moving from a public romance to a new family in formation.
Nayla Rosica, with her historical connection to Boca, becomes the partner in this new adventure.
For the moment, there are no official statements from the player or the future mom, but the information that has emerged on LAM paints a clear picture of happiness for the couple.
Marcelo “Chelo” Weigandt is about to become a dad for the first time. The Boca Juniors footballer will have a child with Nayla Rosica, his current partner, as revealed by journalist Pepe Ochoa on the LAM program.
The news surprised many, as Weigandt had ended his relationship with singer Ángela Leiva just over a year ago in a rather sudden manner. The couple had lived an intense romance that lasted nine months.
According to the details provided on Ángel de Brito's show, the defender communicated the end of the relationship to Leiva via WhatsApp. The artist did not understand what was happening and tried to talk to him, but almost a month went by without him responding to her calls.
The details of the new relationship
With Nayla Rosica, things are different. The couple has been together for six months, and the pregnancy is already four months along. Weigandt left Ángela for her, as indicated on the show.
Nayla Rosica
Rosica has a strong connection with Boca Juniors. She worked as a nutritionist at the club, although she no longer holds that position. Additionally, she is the daughter of one of the treasurers of the institution, so both she and her family have a rich history within the xeneize world.
They met precisely through the club. When Weigandt arrived at Boca, the relationship developed naturally in that environment.
How it ended with Ángela Leiva
The program recalled the tough moment for the singer. After a very intense relationship that had started at a party, the footballer decided to end everything unilaterally. When they finally spoke, he told her that he wasn’t ready for a relationship at that moment.
The revelation of this impending fatherhood excites the player, who is now focusing his personal life on this new stage with Rosica. The defender continues to perform well on the field wearing the Boca jersey, where he has established himself as a reliable full-back.
Fans of the club and the entertainment world are waiting for more details about this good news for Chelo. For now, the information centers on the fact that everything is going well with the pregnancy and that the couple is experiencing this moment with joy.
