The Kirchnerist mayor of La Plata, Julio Alak, officially announced the incorporation of Daniel Lipovetzky into his cabinet, marking the return of the leader to the K space after more than a decade linked to the PRO of Mauricio Macri.
The appointment places him as secretary of International Relations of the municipality, within a structure aimed at developing supposed external links.
The announcement was made in the Golden Hall of the Municipal Palace, during an event where Marcos Urtubey also took office as undersecretary of International Cooperation and Investments and Francisco García Montes as undersecretary of International Relations.
Lipovetzky's designation is framed within an agenda that, according to Alak's administration, seeks to “strengthen the positioning of the city, promote institutional links, and enhance opportunities for productive, cultural, economic, and educational development.”
The mayor also justified the creation and strengthening of this area by stating: “It was essential to respond to the suggestions of international financial organizations that, in times of difficulties, can be very useful to us.”
