More than three months have passed since the death of Gaspar Prim Díaz, the young content creator known as Gaspi, when his family managed to regain access to his official Instagram account. The news came with a message signed by his mother, Michelle Prim, and his brothers Francisco and Federico, who confirmed that from now on they will be the ones managing the profile.
In the statement, the family especially thanked the support they received since the influencer's passing. “Hello everyone. We are Gaspi's family. Since he left, the love we received from you has supported us more than you can imagine,” they wrote, emphasizing the role that followers played during the toughest moments after the tragedy.
The recovery of access was not immediate. For three months, the profile remained untouched by the family. Once they managed to log in, they made it clear what their intentions were: it is not about replacing Gaspi or continuing his career, but about protecting all the material he built over the years.
“We were able to recover his account and from now on we will take care of it, to protect everything he built,” they announced. The central goal, they explained, is for the space to continue functioning as a place of remembrance for those who accompanied him.
A living archive of his humor and joy
The family insisted that the profile will maintain the spirit that characterized Gaspi. “May this place continue to be a space to remember him as he was,” they stated, adding a precise description of what defined him: “With his joy and that characteristic humor that made us all laugh.”
In this way, the account will become an archive of the content that the influencer produced and, at the same time, a meeting point for his community. There will be no changes in direction or attempts to maintain an artificial presence: the focus will be on preserving what already exists and allowing followers to continue visiting that space with the same affection as always.
