GTA 6: Take-Two summoned Microsoft and Discord to find the leaker 'CYBERLEEK'

Take-Two went to court in New York to try to identify CYBERLEEK, accused of leaking material from GTA 6.

The company has subpoenaed Microsoft and Discord, which must provide relevant documentation and information by September 4.

Take-Two also indicated that the information obtained will be used to protect its rights related to copyrighted material.

Among the items the company seeks to obtain from Microsoft are data from OneDrive and Xbox accounts, as well as information related to GTA, Rockstar, and CYBERLEEK.

• Phone number.

• Connections linked to services like Google or Xbox.

• Device identifiers associated.

• Content related to GTA, Rockstar, or CYBERLEEK stored on OneDrive.

Discord must cooperate by providing the information available on its servers. According to the material, CYBERLEEK operates from a dedicated server, in addition to having a web domain and an X account.

Take-Two seeks to stop new leaks of GTA 6

The court decision comes after a new leak of GTA 6. The leaked material includes gameplay, images, and other confidential details of the video game.

According to the information presented to the court, the protected material includes audiovisual content, artwork, images, dialogues, and other creative elements.

Take-Two also issued takedown notices under DMCA against videos showing the alleged leaked gameplay.

The company seeks to identify CYBERLEEK as new fragments of the game continue to appear. Additionally, the leaker is said to have hinted at new posts.

The material also mentions suspicions that CYBERLEEK may be taking advantage of the impact of the leaks to boost sales of its own cryptocurrency.

On the other hand, other hackers have attempted to imitate it with threats related to possible leaks of GTA 6 content.

When Microsoft and Discord must respond regarding the GTA 6 case

Microsoft and Discord have until September 4 to submit the required documentation to the Southern District Court of New York.

CYBERLEEK also reportedly anticipated new leaks. The known material includes information about various systems and features of GTA 6.

The GTA 6 leaks attributed to CYBERLEEK showed possible details of the map of Leonida, divided into five counties, featuring Vice City, swamps, mountains, islands, and an airport located to the south.

The material also revealed possible systems of Honor and Stamina, a police wanted level of six stars, indicators linked to clothing, face, and vehicle, as well as Loadout and Storage options to manage weapons and items.

Among the gameplay details are possible dynamic interactions with NPCs, options like "Defuse" and "Warn", fuel and vehicle damage, as well as new combat animations and physics for water and objects.

The leaks also show possible features such as cash and vault money, playable basketball, Ray Tracing, swimming and diving, cinematic camera, body looting, heavier vehicles, and wall damage.

Other elements include the possibility to pick up hats, use "Clone Key" or "Smash Window" to steal cars, take Zombix pills, access "On Demand" on the radio, and find restricted areas.

The material would correspond to an earlier version of GTA 6, possibly from 2024 or even earlier, so Rockstar may have modified or removed some of these features before the release.
