What the first gameplay of GTA 6 showed
The extended gameplay of GTA 6 lasts 27 minutes and reveals several of the mechanics that the game will have.
Rockstar Games showcased scenes featuring Jason and Lucía, as well as various secondary characters and areas of Leónida.
Jason and Lucía will have new interaction options
During a mission, Jason can interact with a dog. Among the available options are petting it or studying it, and by petting it, he gains karma.
The gameplay also shows that Jason and Lucía can hold hands when both characters are under player control.
Another interaction allows Jason to accept or decline a cigar offered by another character. The scene takes place on a terrace in Vice City.

GTA 6 will have a karma system and new combat mechanics
The interaction with the dog confirms the presence of a karma system similar to that of Red Dead Redemption 2. The player's actions will modify how the world perceives the characters.
During shootouts, Jason has a health bar and another linked to a skill similar to the Dead Eye from Red Dead Redemption 2.
A confrontation from a vehicle was also shown. Lucía drives while Jason shoots from the back seats with an automatic rifle.

How the police and wanted system will work in GTA 6
One of the new features is related to the police wanted system. The police will be able to recognize the vehicle, clothing, face, and group members.
For this reason, characters will need to change these elements to try to lose the wanted stars more quickly.

The game will also allow character switching during certain situations. Rockstar showed a switch from Lucía to Jason while she was parachuting from a skyscraper.
What new vehicles appear in GTA 6
The gameplay confirmed new vehicles designed to traverse the wilder areas of Leónida.
Hovercrafts for navigating swamps.
Kayaks for navigating rivers and canals.
Electric scooters, although it has not yet been confirmed if Jason and Lucía will be able to use them.
An open-top car was also shown in which Jason and Lucía can travel while conversing.

What side activities will GTA 6 have
The first gameplay also showed several activities that will be available outside of the main missions.
Street races.
Basketball.
Scuba diving.
Weightlifting.
Jet ski races.
Skydiving.
Visits to the strip club.
Basketball brings back a beloved activity from GTA San Andreas. Jason can use a hoop located next to one of the houses shown in the gameplay.
Scuba diving will also be available and was shown with greater freedom of movement and more detailed underwater environments.

Street racing and nightlife will be present in GTA 6
Street races appear among the confirmed side activities. In one scene, one of the protagonists participates in a competition while a secondary character shouts from the window.
The nightlife of Vice City also plays an important role. The gameplay shows the protagonists in clubs and nightclubs.

Lucía can drink from her glass or leave it, while Jason is seen dancing on the floor.
This is how the interface and customization of GTA 6 will be
GTA 6 will have an immediate customization wheel that will allow modifying the protagonists' outfits.
Players will also be able to select hats, glasses, and scarves. The system allows saving multiple outfits and carrying consumables to recover health.

The interface also shows three bars corresponding to health, energy, and skill. Money will be divided between a joint bank account and each protagonist's individual cash.
GTA 6 will also have random events and social media
During a car ride, Jason and Lucía witness a random event. An NPC falls off a bridge while trying to record a selfie video.

The scene shows the role that social media will play within the world of GTA 6.
When is GTA 6 coming out
The gameplay presented by Rockstar Games anticipates news about the game before its expected release on November 19.
The material also ends with Jason, Lucía, and Cal, a close secondary character to the couple, having a beer on the deck of a boat.
