Ibai already sees himself as world champion: “On Monday we will be celebrating in Madrid”

The Spanish National Team faces the final of the 2026 World Cup backed by a present that places it among the best teams on the planet. The team led by Luis de la Fuente arrives at the decisive match after winning the Euro Cup, competing in the last finals of the UEFA Nations League, and maintaining an extensive streak of matches without defeats in regulation or extra time.

This performance fuels optimism within Spanish football and also among its main media figures. One of them is Ibai Llanos, who publicly expressed his confidence that La Roja will defeat Argentina and lift the trophy.

During a live broadcast held before the final, Ibai stated that he has already been invited to participate in the institutional reception that the Spanish national team will have if they win the title.

As he explained, the celebration would include a reception at La Moncloa, the seat of the Spanish Government, where the champions would be honored upon their return to the country.

The content creator acknowledged that experiencing that moment would be an unforgettable memory and expressed his excitement about accompanying the team in a potential celebration.

”I believe we are going to be world champions, I believe Spain will have its second star and that on Monday we will be celebrating in Madrid and throughout Spain the World Championship. I have been invited to welcome the Spanish national team at La Moncloa (presidential seat). It could be a memory for a lifetime. We are 90 minutes, 120 or 135 if we add the stoppage time away,” he stated.

Ibai also recalled that he maintained his support for Spain even in the moments of greatest uncertainty during the championship.

The streamer affirmed that he never lost confidence in the team, not even after the unexpected draw in the World Cup debut, and maintained that he always believed that the Spanish team had what it takes to reach the final.
