Julián Álvarez missed training again and "Cholo" Simeone confirmed that he will not play against Sevilla

The future of Julián Álvarez at Atlético Madrid continues to generate uncertainty. Amid intense weeks and an increasingly complex situation, the Argentine forward has once again missed training and will not be available for the team's next match.

The absence of the attacker has extended for the third consecutive day and Diego Simeone confirmed in a press conference that Álvarez will not be part of the match against Sevilla, corresponding to a new round of La Liga.

The Argentine coach referred again to the forward's situation and highlighted his importance within the squad. When asked about his availability, he was emphatic: "I remain in the same position, in sporting terms to help him continue being the very important player he is for us. Clearly, Julián will not be there tomorrow."

Simeone also spoke about the context surrounding Julián Álvarez and the stance adopted by the institution. "I understand that your questions revolve around what is happening with Julián. From the club's side, it has been very clear and straightforward about what will happen," he expressed.

Additionally, he referred to the discomfort that the situation has generated among some Atlético Madrid supporters: "In life, everything can be reversed as long as we have health."

Julián Álvarez has gone three days without training with the squad

The former River player has not been working with his teammates since Wednesday. Initially, his absence was attributed to an indisposition, although reports from Spain also emerged about the possibility that the forward is doing individualized training at a different time.

The lack of certainty about his physical and sporting present has increased the expectation around his situation within the club, especially after the events of the last few weeks.

Despite this scenario, Simeone insisted that the coaching staff maintains the intention to support the forward when he is available to work with the squad again.
