Marcela Tauro responded to the rumors about a possible cancellation of Infamaon América TV after the end of A la Tarde was confirmed.
The host decided to address the rumors live and assured that the program continues strong on the air, even with possibilities to extend its schedule.

During the broadcast of Infama, Tauro directly referred to the rumors that circulated in recent days.
“I have had many changes since we started because we are a year and a month in. They keep extending the program and I appreciate it”, the journalist expressed.
She then pointed out those who spread rumors about the supposed end of the show. “Every now and then they invent a rumor that they want to cancel Infama”, she stated. The host also revealed that the channel offered to add a new edition on Saturdays.
“We go from five thirty and they want to extend us a little more, they offered us to do Saturday. The truth is that since I work every day, thank God, from six thirty onwards, I asked the channel for one day because I need to have it”, she explained.

“Yes, they have changed the producers, that happens all the time in television and one should not get angry, but rather accept and be grateful that they trust us and always put good producers with us,” she maintained.
The statements came after journalist Fede Flowers spoke publicly about possible modifications within the show.

The end of A la Tarde generated a strong impact within the programming of América TV. In recent months, the show hosted by Karina Mazzocco had modified its format to incorporate life stories and partially move away from entertainment topics.

The news was confirmed by Ángel de Brito through his social media. “Karina Mazzocco's program is ending, although everyone will remain linked to the company,” he wrote.
