In the midst of a judicial investigation for alleged illicit enrichment and money laundering, Martín Insaurralde reappeared publicly during a celebration for the victory of the Argentine National Team against Switzerland in the 2026 World Cup, held in the luxurious apartment of a construction businessman in Puerto Madero.
The former Kirchnerist mayor and former chief of staff of Axel Kicillof was seen sitting among numerous guests, dressed in a black t-shirt, smoking a cigar and raising his arm to the rhythm of the songs cheering for the Argentine team. This is the first time he has been seen since the release of videos showing bags of dollars hidden among clothes in a dressing room.
The images were initially shared by journalist Gustavo Méndez, who reported that he received a message during the match to check the posts of one of the attendees. Given the possibility that the material would be deleted, he took a screenshot of the video, which later began to circulate on social media.
According to Méndez on Radio Mitre, the celebration took place at the home of Rodrigo Fernández Prieto, a businessman and real estate developer known as the “Prince of Puerto Madero.” The host is linked to significant construction projects in that area and also to developments in Panama and Miami.
The gathering reportedly included people connected to the real estate, architectural, legal, and financial sectors. According to the journalist, several attendees initially posted images of the meeting, but made their accounts private or deleted the content when Insaurralde's presence began to generate a stir.

Fernández Prieto was in a relationship with model Floppy Tesouro and, as journalist Mercedes Ninci revealed, he also previously had a relationship with Jésica Cirio. The former provincial official has maintained an extremely low profile since the scandal known as “Yategate,” which occurred during the 2023 electoral campaign. At that time he was photographed on a luxury boat in Marbella with model Sofía Clérici, an episode that led to his resignation as chief of staff to Axel Kicillof.
