Paula Chaves found herself at the center of controversy again after an old clip of her participation in OLGA, the streaming channel that brings together various figures from entertainment and social media, went viral. Although the episode occurred a few months ago, the clip has circulated strongly on platforms like X, Instagram, and TikTok, generating outrage among progressive sectors and users who labeled her comments as racist.

The moment occurred during a relaxed conversation among the program's participants while discussing romantic relationships and couples. In that context, Nacho Elizalde commented to singer Ángela Leiva: “Do you know my girlfriend? She's tall, blonde...”.

It was then that Paula Chaves intervened with a phrase that generated laughter in the studio among those present, but which would later provoke a strong controversy on social media. “She comes to improve the race,” the host said jokingly.

In recent hours, the clip has been massively shared again, and hundreds of users questioned the use of a phrase historically associated with racial and social prejudices.

“What a horrible comment”; “Call it what you want, but that saying is very derogatory”; “How disgusting to normalize those phrases,” were some of the messages that appeared below the viral video.

Other users, however, downplayed the situation and considered it simply a humorous comment with no intention to offend, criticizing what they see as a “cancel culture” driven by progressive sectors on social media.

Who is Nacho Elizalde's girlfriend?

The young woman Nacho Elizalde was referring to during the program is Katerina Vara, known on social media as “Kativara.” She is a stylist and producer who gained notoriety in the world of fashion and urban music for working alongside several young artists from the Argentine scene.

Among the figures she has collaborated with are FMK, Rusherking, Juanicar, the Córdoba actress Paprika, and even the Spanish singer Lola Índigo. Her work is often linked to creating looks for music videos, events, photo shoots, and public appearances.

Although she has made some appearances in traditional media, especially in columns related to styling within Nacho Elizalde's program, much of her public exposure occurs through social media. Between Instagram and TikTok, she has over 120,000 followers, where she shares fashion recommendations, trends, and content related to major fashion events like BAFWeek.
