PS Plus Extra adds two new games and expands its catalog in June 2026

The staggered distribution marked a difference from the model that Sony had been using in recent months.

What games will arrive on PS Plus Extra before July

The June update is not over yet. Sony confirmed that three more games will be added to the catalog on June 30.

PS Plus Extra has added two new titles to its catalog. These are Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Life is Strange: Double Exposure, which are now available for subscribers of the service.

The update is part of the third batch of additions for June. Sony still plans to add more games before the end of the month, completing a staggered release strategy that altered the usual scheme of the service.

What games arrived on PS Plus Extra on June 23

The new titles added to the PS Plus Extra catalog are:

• Kingdom Come: Deliverance (PS4 and PS5)

• Life is Strange: Double Exposure (PS5)

Both games began to be rolled out progressively by region and are now available for users in the United States, Europe, and Japan.

With these additions, PS Plus Extra reaches its fifth addition to the catalog during June 2026.

• Gitaroo Man — June 16

• Kingdom Come: Deliverance — June 23

Why Sony changed the PS Plus Extra schedule

In recent years, updates for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium typically arrived in a single monthly batch.

However, in June 2026, Sony chose to divide the additions into four different stages. As the company explained in its most recent financial report, this approach aims to increase user engagement and strengthen the growth of the service.

The strategy resembles that used by some streaming platforms, which distribute their premieres on various dates to extend audience interest.

When will the PS Plus games for July 2026 be announced

The change in strategy also affected the usual announcement schedule. The games for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium for July 2026 were supposed to be presented on June 24. However, Sony confirmed that the reveal has been postponed until July 1.

On the other hand, the titles for PS Plus Essential maintain their planned schedule and will be available starting July 7.
