The host of Pasó en América talked on her show about the end of her brief romance and gave a message to those who cling to what no longer has a future

The romance between Sabrina Rojas and José Chatruc ended as unexpectedly as it had begun. In light of the doubts and rumors that circulated in recent days, the host of Pasó en América decided to share on her show the reasons that led her to end the relationship.

With a resigned tone, Rojas began: “At least I spent the coldest months cuddled up and with love.” She then acknowledged that the feeling didn’t fade overnight. “When they ask if the love is over, no. You don’t just press a button and turn off love. I’m fine and my love hasn’t gone away. I still love him, I miss him, I like him, a lot of things.”

However, she set a clear boundary. When things aren’t working, you can’t waste time on something that can’t be changed. That idea was the core of her explanation and also the advice she left for the women listening to her.

“For you who are at home in love with something that can’t be. You have to make peace with the reality that can’t be changed. We don’t stay crying. We transform that and have a good time. That doesn’t mean I don’t feel anything,” she said, looking at the camera.

A change of perspective at 46

Rojas insisted that at her age, she no longer allows herself to be held back by a love that isn’t progressing. “Since life is urgent for me, I try to transform myself and I will never dim my light for a love again. I go out to enjoy with friends, but that doesn’t mean I’m looking for men. Dancing, having a little drink makes me feel good... I won’t stay locked up for a love anymore. At 46, life is lived differently than at 30.”

The host downplayed the duration of the relationship and the current moment. “We were together for just four months. Four months ago we were happy. Now it’s about being happy again (separately).”

The message she left was clear: you have to accept what cannot be changed and move forward without dimming your own life. It’s not about denying the affection still felt, but rather not getting stuck in a dead-end situation.

With these words, Sabrina Rojas closed the chapter of her brief story with José Chatruc and, at the same time, shared a reflection that goes beyond her own personal experience.
