One of the figures of France in the last World Cup became embroiled in a strong controversy off the field. This involves Michael Olise, who, according to the German newspaper Bild, was reported by a woman who claims she never personally met the 20-month-old daughter they have in common and that he also did not provide financial support for her upbringing.

The complainant is Fátima Zaunbrecher, a 34-year-old German of Moroccan descent, who stated that she met Olise in 2022 through Instagram, when the forward was still playing for Crystal Palace. According to her account, the relationship lasted almost two years and, shortly after the separation, she discovered that she was pregnant.

The girl, named Aaliyah Noor, was born in 2023. According to the publication, a DNA test conducted in Munich at Olise's request confirmed paternity, which was then legally acknowledged by the footballer. However, Zaunbrecher maintains that this acknowledgment never translated into a relationship with the minor.

"It destroys me to see the cruelty with which someone can treat their own daughter. He doesn't even talk to me and just sends his lawyers", the woman stated in remarks to Bild. She also claimed that the player has never visited the girl and that all communication is maintained exclusively through legal representatives.

The conflict also has a strong economic component. Zaunbrecher is demanding child support of 60,000 euros per month, a request she presented to the French courts without success. Meanwhile, according to Bild, the entourage of the current Bayern Munich player initially offered 836 euros per month and then raised the proposal to 2,000 euros. The woman claims she has never received any payment and described those figures as "ridiculous".

Olise's lawyers, on the other hand, rejected that version. They stated that the forward offered to cooperate from the beginning of the process, that he is still willing to reach an out-of-court settlement, and that the proposed amount exceeds the maximum allowed by German law for such cases.

So far, neither Olise nor the German club have made public statements regarding the accusations reported by the German media.
