Thousands of students across the country are closely following the news about the Progresar Scholarships 2026, a key program that provides financial support to young people and adults pursuing various levels of education. The benefit, managed by the Ministry of Human Capital and processed through ANSES, aims to support those in secondary school, tertiary education, university, nursing, or vocational training.

If you have already submitted your application, it is important to know how to check the status and what options you have if it appears as observed or directly rejected. The first call for some lines has already closed, but there is still time for others.

The Progresar Scholarships 2026 are open to students who meet the academic and socioeconomic requirements of the program. While registrations for Progresar Mandatory and Higher Education have already ended at this stage, the Vocational Training line remains available until November 27, 2026.

What to do if your application is marked as observed or rejected

Not all applications are approved right away. In many cases, the process is observed due to personal data discrepancies, incomplete academic information, or failure to meet certain requirements. In this situation, it is best to quickly access the Progresar platform, read the reason, and make the necessary corrections or upload the requested documentation within the deadlines.

Progresar Scholarships 2026: who can access them and what happens if the application was rejected

If it appears as rejected, you can see the details to understand the cause. The most common reasons include failure to prove regularity in studies, exceeding family income limits, or having incomplete data on the form. Authorities recommend regularly checking the status and keeping all personal and educational information updated to avoid delays.

In these cases, do not get discouraged: often a quick correction can resolve the issue and allow you to move forward in the process.

The monthly amount for the Higher Education, Nursing, and Vocational Training lines is 35,000 pesos gross according to the resolution published in the Official Bulletin. However, students receive 80 percent, which is 28,000 pesos net per month. The remaining 20 percent is paid later in an annual installment, provided that it is demonstrated that the student remains a regular student and meets the academic conditions.

How to check if your scholarship was approved

To know the status of your application, you have two main options. One is to log into the ANSES site with your CUIL and Social Security Key to see if you already have a payment date. The other is to go directly to the official Progresar platform and check there if it was approved, observed, or rejected.

Those who were approved in this 2026 call received payment on May 26 in the bank account they declared. For June, there is still no confirmed official calendar, but it is expected to follow the usual scheme according to the last digit of the DNI.

Additionally, those entering for the first time may receive accumulated payments from previous months once everything normalizes. It is important to highlight that the scholarship amounts have not changed in the last two years.

The program remains a fundamental tool for many young people to continue their studies without the economic situation being such a significant obstacle. Regularly checking the status of the process and staying alert to notifications is key to not missing this opportunity.
