Spain is witnessing a new and bloody display of uncontrolled immigration that is ravaging Europe. The events, which have shocked the Biscayan capital, unfolded last Friday afternoon in an environment that should be safe: a public elevator connecting plaza de la Encarnación, in the Atxuri area, with the neighborhood of Santutxu.
The nightmare began when a young Maghrebian, already known to the security forces for his criminal record and history of violence, entered the elevator carrying a loudspeaker. In response to the woman's logical request to lower the volume, the individual's reply was a display of hatred and radical cultural machismo, responding: "You are a woman, you cannot give me orders".

The assault, marked by intense physicality, moved from inside the elevator to the public street, specifically to Zabalbide street. The attacker showed no mercy: he pushed the elderly woman with such violence that it caused her a clavicle fracture upon hitting the ground, a serious injury that will require imminent surgical intervention.
Not stopping there, the aggressor turned on the husband, who tried to defend his wife, subjecting him to a chokehold while pressing on his neck. During the struggle, the criminal managed to hit him in the face and deliver a bite that caused a bleeding wound on his arm.
