In the context of the Economic Cycle of the Córdoba Stock Exchange, the minister announced that new projects could arrive at the RIGI and highlighted the growing investor interest in Argentina
The Argentine Republic continues its process of historic and irreversible transformation. During his brilliant presentation at the Current Situation Cycle event, organized by the prestigious Córdoba Stock Exchange, the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, outlined a compelling picture of institutional reconstruction and the end of the systematic fear that traditional politics imposed on citizens.
Caputo explained that, unlike previous administrations that avoided fundamental reforms out of political cowardice, this administration decided to tackle the structural imbalances at their roots.

In this regard, he denounced the psychological damage that the traumatic corralito from 25 years ago left on society, pushing Argentines to distrust their own institutions and hide their savings:
“They have been bullying us for years,” the minister lamented, adding that “the corralito happened 25 years ago; people still fear today and lose money keeping dollars under the mattress because they are afraid to take them to the bank”.
Faced with this devastated landscape, the government's economic freedom policies are already reaping unprecedented rewards thanks to the innovative Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI).
In an auditorium filled with national entrepreneurs eager to be part of this historic change, the Minister of Economy announced the imminent arrival of monumental capital that will reactivate the nation's productive apparatus.
According to the official, the flow of approved projects so far represents only a fraction of the colossal interest that the libertarian administration is generating. With great enthusiasm and determination, Caputo announced:
“This is only from the RIGIs we have approved, which are one-third of the total. Soon you will find out that they are one-fourth because some RIGIs of up to USD 50 billion will come”.

This financial milestone definitively buries international isolation and demonstrates that private capital recognizes Javier Milei's administration as the only guarantor of legal security and stability in the region.
The head of the Treasury did not shy away from confronting corporatist and opposition sectors that attempt to sow unfounded alarms about the decline in activity. With devastating data, Caputo debunked the supposed successes of the import substitution model and the cartelized public works of the past.
The minister detailed how, under the protection of the "cracks" of leftist governments, the industrial sector suffered a real decline of 10%. For those detractors of the free market, the minister was relentless in reminding them how Argentine consumers were defrauded:
“The industry in those years, under the previous cracks model, fell 10% despite being subsidized in rates by all Argentines, because all the fools like us paid 10 times what things were worth. For all the idiots who talk about industry...”.
Similarly, the fiscal waste disguised as state infrastructure was exposed harshly. Caputo revealed that nearly 15 points of gross domestic product were squandered on projects that never benefited citizens, resulting in a 1% drop in construction:

“We must have spent almost 15 points of the product and we did not inherit the European highways. Construction fell 1% and where did that money go? We all know. Let's say things as they are”.
The new paradigm of Javier Milei's government proposes a 180-degree turn: the modernization of the country will be led by market forces. Luis Caputo projected that in just two years, Argentina will experience an unprecedented transformation in infrastructure.
This phenomenal change will be achieved through the granting of concessions for national roads to private companies and through efficient coordination with the provinces to access credits from multilateral financing organizations.
Despite the ideological differences of the old politics, the minister highlighted the excellent management harmony with provincial leaders for federal development: “I work great with the governors and they are all from the opposition. No problem, as long as the goal is to benefit Argentines, that’s perfect”.
Finally, in a show of political maturity and following the historic officialist victory in the legislative elections of 2025, Caputo took on the personal commitment to deepen territorial dialogue and political negotiations.
As a demonstration of this renewed agenda of trips to the interior of the country, the minister will travel this Thursday to the province of Catamarca along with the Chief of Cabinet, Diego Santilli, to continue consolidating the foundations of national reconstruction and ensure that the influx of investments reaches every corner of Argentine soil.
