Confidence in the Government of Javier Milei grew in August, driven by a strong increase in numerous sectors of society, especially among young people.
The Government Confidence Index (ICG), developed by the Torcuato Di Tella University, reached 2.06 points, representing an increase of 6.4% compared to July.
One of the most notable data points from the report appears among young people aged 18 to 29. In August, this group recorded the highest level of confidence among the analyzed age segments, with 2.80 points, representing a 66.3% monthly increase.

Thus, young people were the group that showed the greatest recovery during August. The report indicates that this segment had the most significant increase of the month. Meanwhile, individuals aged 30 to 49 also increased their level of confidence, reaching 1.99 points, with a rise of 14%.
Comparison with Other Governments
Another favorable data point for the Government appears in the comparison with previous administrations. In the 32nd month of Milei's presidency, the ICG of 2.06 points exceeds the records held by Mauricio Macri, Cristina Kirchner, and Alberto Fernández at the same point in their respective terms.
Compared to Macri's 1.94 points, the current indicator is 5.9% higher. In comparison with Cristina Kirchner II, when it reached 1.82 points, the current level is 13.1% greater. Regarding Cristina Kirchner I, the increase reaches 14.6%, while compared to Alberto Fernández's record of 1.18 points, the difference is 74.1%.
The recovery was also reflected in four of the five components that make up the ICG. Efficiency reached 2.02 points and increased 12.6%, while Concern for the general interest reached 1.71 points, with an improvement of 12.8%.

At the same time, the General Evaluation of the Government rose to 1.76 points, a 7.6% increase from July, and the Honesty component reached 2.52 points after advancing 2.7%. The Ability to solve problems remained stable at 2.29 points, with a positive variation of 0.3%.
By gender, confidence also increased in August, especially among men, where the ICG reached 2.26 points, with a rise of 7.2%, while among women it reached 1.78 points, an increase of 2.1%.
In territorial terms, the highest level was again recorded among those living in the interior of the country, where the indicator reached 2.25 points, with an improvement of 7.7%. In the GBA, it reached 1.72 points (+5.2%) and in the City of Buenos Aires, it reached 1.92 points (+0.1%).
The report also showed advances among educational sectors: those with tertiary or university education reached 2.27 points, with an increase of 11.6%, while the segment with primary education recorded one of the largest increases, of 19.5%, up to 1.53 points.
