In the context of the new paradigm of economic freedom and deregulation that the country is experiencing, YPF Digital has taken a fundamental step towards the consolidation of an unprecedented digital ecosystem. The company announced a long-term strategic alliance with Mastercard for the launch of a prepaid card integrated directly into the YPF App. This move not only represents a technological advancement but symbolizes the new era of corporate efficiency where the company seeks to compete at the highest global level.
The first major milestone of this agreement will materialize by late 2026, when the new Mastercard prepaid card will be available, allowing users to make purchases at physical and virtual stores within the global Mastercard network. Mauro Cercos, general manager of YPF Digital, emphasized that this collaboration allows us to "enhance our value proposition and continue evolving our digital ecosystem, incorporating innovative payment solutions that expand the reach of the YPF APP and simplify the experience of our users both inside and outside our stations".

For her part, the Cluster Leader for Mastercard Argentina and Uruguay, Florencia Solazzi, highlighted the importance of integrating their "payment and technology solutions into one of the most widespread digital ecosystems in the country", bringing benefits in key sectors such as gastronomy, mobility, and entertainment to millions of Argentinians.
Currently, the YPF App has a solid base of over 3 million active users generating nearly 6 million monthly transactions, figures that demonstrate the success of the shift towards digitalization.
