The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, slammed the communist Zohran Mamdani during his speech this Thursday at the UN General Assembly, stating that "Jews no longer feel safe" in New York governed by the Muslim mayor.
"Mr. Mamdani, since you were elected mayor of this city, many Jews no longer feel safe in New York," the Israeli leader expressed. "They talk to me. They tell me this is not the city they remember. It changed very quickly," he added.
Then, the Israeli Prime Minister erupted: "Now it is not surprising that you praise convicted criminals for supporting Hamas; you count as friends people like Hasan Piker, who said that the United States deserved 9/11. What good friends you have."
"Your wife liked to post praises for the massacre of October 7. She liked another post that said Tel Aviv should not exist. You refused to condemn any of those things. You falsely and repeatedly accuse Israel of genocide," continued the premier.

"Mr. Mamdani, you tried to prevent me from coming here. You tried to silence me. Well, you cannot silence me. You cannot silence the truth. And this is the simple truth… Israel did not commit genocide. Israel prevented genocide," Netanyahu shot back. "That is exactly what Mr. Mamdani's friends from Hamas would have done to us if we had not stopped them” on October 7, 2023, they would have killed every last one of us," he added.
Hate crimes against Jews have increased by 8% in the Big Apple so far this year, according to police statistics. Additionally, 229 reports of anti-Semitic attacks have been recorded in these eight months.
"The lies that you and other anti-Semites spread about Jews and the Jewish state have real consequences," Netanyahu pointed out, targeting the Democratic mayor. "In New York, Jews are threatened on their way to the synagogue. Jews have been stabbed in the streets."
