Trump's candidate for the governorship of California, Steve Hilton, lashed out this Friday against California's rigged electoral system as the state prepares to count votes for several more weeks.
"First of all, no matter how long it takes, we are confident that we will be among the top two by the end of this process. There is nothing we are seeing that changes our assessment that we will be among the top two once all the votes are counted," he stated. "And what does that mean? It means change is coming!"
The Trump supporter added that "this chaos is absolutely embarrassing for our state. India counts more than 640 million votes in one day. California can't count fewer than 10 million votes in a month. Thanks to the Democrats in charge of our state, we have become the national and international laughingstock."
Hilton brought up the example of Ventura County, which will not have another update of counted votes until Tuesday, June 9, a week after Election Day. "Mail-in ballots must arrive before Election Day if they are to be counted," the candidate pointed out, denouncing the unchecked mail-in voting.

In this context, California -a stronghold of the Democratic Party for the last decade- is counting mail-in votes without verifying the date they were sent, and it is estimated that approximately 4 million ballots are still out there. "It's madness. This electoral system they have created here is just another monument to their ineptitude, another version of the high-speed train," Hilton considered.
Despite the delay in counting, it is projected that former Biden administration official, Xavier Becerra, will advance to the runoff. Hilton, who was in first place, has fallen to second place, and his lead over Democrat Tom Steyer is shrinking, with approximately 340,000 votes separating them.
Last night, in the Los Angeles municipal elections, a new update in the tally positioned the Marxist councilwoman Nithya Raman as the favorite to surpass the Trump supporter Spencer Pratt while approximately 251,000 ballots remain to be counted in the city of Los Angeles.
Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, Bill Essayli, announced on Friday that his office is conducting "multiple investigations into electoral fraud" along with the FBI, as well as a "thorough audit of California's voter rolls" with the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice.
