Dressed in pink and holding their babies, a group of feminist advocates for infanticide marched outside the Massachusetts courts to defend Lindsay Clancy, a mother accused of strangling her three children to death in 2023.
The gathering took place on Thursday morning. The women linked their hands and stood in a circle to observe a minute of silence in honor of Clancy. Many wore shirts with the hashtag "We Are All Lindsay Clancy" as part of the online support campaign that the murderer is enjoying.
"We stood in silence, united hand in hand, dressed in pink, to show Lindsay Clancy the peaceful support she deserved," said one of the marchers. Similar marches were held in other parts of the United States. Clancy's defense attorney was cheered by the feminists as he entered the courtroom to defend his client.

Clancy's case has gained national notoriety. The prosecution accuses her of causing the deaths of her three children, aged 5, 3, and 8 months. Supporters of the accused argue that the murders are the fault of the healthcare industry for prescribing her medications with severe side effects after Clancy showed signs of postpartum psychosis. Other feminists have gone so far as to accuse the family’s father, Patrick, of being the real killer and framing his wife.
If Clancy suffered from postpartum psychosis, that is not enough to exempt her from the consequences of her actions and for the jury to acquit her as her defense requests. Several have already pointed out that if the accused is declared "not guilty" by reason of insanity, there is a possibility that she could be committed to a mental health facility for a time and then be released, essentially leaving the crime of her three children unpunished.
Clancy pleaded not guilty to the charges of first-degree murder, but her defense has never denied her role in the atrocious crime. What her legal team is trying to demonstrate is that she should not be held criminally responsible for acts committed under the influence of multiple prescribed medications and while suffering from postpartum psychosis.
