A left-wing transgender lunatic named Ryan "Reily" Michael English was sentenced to 73 months in federal prison this Tuesday for attempting to assassinate the Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent, one of the key officials in the Trump administration, at the United States Capitol.
English had pleaded guilty in March of this year to charges related to the attempted assassination of Bessent, who at that time, on January 27, 2025, was a candidate for the cabinet in Trump’s second term. On that day in January, English approached a police officer guarding the Capitol and told him he wanted to turn himself in.
The police found him carrying a folding knife, a lighter, and two Molotov cocktails made from small vodka bottles. English confessed to having traveled to the U.S. capital with the intention of killing Bessent and other Trump officials.

According to court documents, investigators also found a handwritten note in English's possession that referenced incidents of violence against his sisters and stated that he had been "planning and lying."
The episode went mostly unnoticed until Bessent spoke about it more than a year later. Coincidentally, the former investor was confirmed as Treasury Secretary on the same day in January that English planned to take his life, for which he was arrested and is now convicted.
This is not the first time the left has planned and executed multiple assassination attempts directed at Trump and members of his cabinet in recent years. Just two weeks ago, an armed suspect was arrested at the Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles when the president was scheduled to visit this location as part of his agenda.
