Following the explosive national address by President Donald Trump, Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin announced that his department will conduct an investigation to find illegal immigrants registered on the electoral rolls who wish to vote in the upcoming legislative elections.
Last night, Trump exposed the vulnerabilities of the American electoral system, which is compromised by a Chinese infiltration that the country's main intelligence agencies concealed from him during his first term. In his speech, the president also revealed that more than 250,000 foreign citizens are illegally registered to vote in federal elections.
The DHS security team and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) are working on a plan that will be launched in the next 30 days to update the electoral infrastructure. Mullin noted that this program will help states ensure electoral integrity and emphasized that the government is seeking to restore the American people's trust in the voting system.
Foreigners attempting to vote illegally will face criminal charges
The DHS will also review the electoral rolls to find illegal immigrants, deceased individuals, or any other citizen who is not eligible to vote but has somehow cast a ballot. "Having a Real ID does not prove citizenship nor grants the right to vote. To vote, one must be a U.S. citizen and meet legal requirements," Mullin emphasized.
