Milo Yiannopoulos, the former figure of the American right who broke away from the Trumpist movement several years ago, was arrested in New Orleans for illegally remaining in the United States, as confirmed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The influencer legally entered the country in 2019 from the United Kingdom and overstayed his visa, leading an immigration judge to issue a final deportation order on July 22, after Yiannopoulos failed to appear at his key hearing.
"Being detained is an option. We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home app. The United States offers illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now", the DHS stated.

"We urge every person who is here illegally to take advantage of this offer and preserve the opportunity to return to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. Otherwise, they will be arrested and deported with no chance of return," the department concluded.
Yiannopoulos rose to fame during the 2016 election period, presenting himself as a combative figure within the American right and a vigorous defender of the policies of then-candidate Trump. His career collapsed after the elections, and the MAGA movement marginalized him forever after he made statements in which he apparently defended sexual relationships between older men and minors.
Subsequently, he served for several years as chief of staff for Kanye West and also worked as an intern for then-Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who along with Tucker Carlson and other delusional Republicans seeks to form a "right-wing without Trump" party in anticipation of the 2028 presidential elections.
The anti-Trumpist Marjoe Taylor Greene employed someone who had been marginalized by the MAGA movement for being degenerate.
