US President Donald Trump has warned China that he will impose 50% tariffs on it if it is confirmed that it is providing military assistance to Iran's terrorist regime in the midst of the conflict in the Middle East.
During an interview on Fox News' Sunday Morning Futures program, Trump was asked by journalist Maria Bartiromo about whether his tariff warning was specifically aimed at China.
“Yes, China and potentially others. But specifically, yes, China is included,” the president replied, making clear the scope of the measure
.The US president maintained that there are versions of possible Chinese military support for Tehran, although he avoided confirming them categorically.

“I've heard rumors, and I don't always trust the news, that China is supplying portable anti-aircraft missiles. I'm not sure that's true. I doubt that they will because I have a relationship with them and I think they wouldn't, although maybe they did it a little at the beginning, but I don't think they will do it now,”
