In a message posted on Truth Social, Trump demanded that all countries involved in the current negotiations with Iran “mandatory” sign the historic normalization agreements promoted during his first presidency.
The request was specifically directed at Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and Pakistan, while the president noted that other participating countries are already part of the diplomatic pact that redefined relations between Israel and several Arab states since 2020.
“It should be mandatory for all these countries, at a minimum, to simultaneously join the Abraham Accords”, wrote Trump, who claimed to have instructed his representatives to complete the process. Although he admitted that “one or two” might have reasons not to do so, he insisted that the majority of the nations involved are “ready, willing, and able” to turn the eventual agreement with Iran into a “much more historic” event.

The statement marks an ambitious turn in regional diplomacy. What began as talks to contain tensions with Tehran could transform, according to Trump’s vision, into a political reconfiguration of the Middle East under the umbrella of the Abraham Accords.
The president went even further by suggesting that even the Islamic Republic of Iran could eventually join the regional normalization framework. “It would be an honor,” Trump stated, adding that the countries involved in the negotiations would welcome Iran joining the agreement once the final document is signed. “Wow, that would be something special,” he wrote.
However, behind the optimistic tone lies a clear warning. Trump described the negotiations as “a complex puzzle” and reiterated that Washington would only accept “a great deal or no deal”. Should the diplomatic route fail, he warned, the United States would return “to the battlefield and to shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever.”
The statements reflect Trump’s characteristic approach to foreign policy: maximum pressure, transactional diplomacy, and a bet on spectacular agreements capable of altering the regional balance.
