Trip to Switzerland: Useless, expensive and abusive

The Broad Front government sent a delegation of useless people to Switzerland that cost Uruguayans thousands of dollars

A delegation from the Uruguayan government traveled to Geneva, Switzerland, with the supposed objective of presenting the sixth report before the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR) of the United Nations.

The official mission was made up of 23 public officials from various ministries and state agencies. Among the most prominent participants are three of the worst senators from Frente Amplio, Bettiana Díaz, Constanza Moreira, and Felipe Carballo.

Other bureaucrats from state agencies also traveled. Representatives from the Ministry of the Interior, Health, Education and Economy took part, in addition to the Social Security Bank (BPS), and even from the University of the Republic, such as Daoiz Uriarte, a "teacher" with unspeakable relationships with his female students.

A useless and expensive trip

The trip, carried out between February 8 and 11, caused a strong political debate in Uruguay due to its costs and the number of members.

Sectors of the opposition and critics of the government questioned the relevance of the expense, describing it on social networks and in the media as "excessive".

The trip required an expense of tens of thousands of dollars in a few days. Uruguayan taxpayers paid for tickets, travel insurance, and stays in a spectacular hotel in Geneva.

In addition, those who traveled have no experience in the matters addressed. Senator Felipe Carballo did not finish the third year of secondary education, and Senator Bettiana Díaz barely completed high school. However, they were, together with Constanza Moreira, the main representatives of the Uruguayan government in Geneva.

The Colette Spinetti case

Another figure who traveled was Colette Spinetti, who holds the position of Secretary of Human Rights in the Presidency of the Republic, with a fabulous office in the Executive Tower a few meters from President Orsi.

Spinetti has no experience. She reached that position because she self-identifies as a "trans woman", and in this way she climbed politically. Apparently, she also took her boyfriend, Thomás Bertón, to Geneva; he is a "trans man".

In September of last year, this person was expelled from her political group in Frente Amplio. She has countless complaints of workplace harassment from her subordinates in the aforementioned Secretariat.

Meanwhile, in Uruguay, taxes keep going up, regulations increase and bureaucratic obstacles multiply for those who want to work and produce. In a few days, thousands of dollars are wasted on a completely useless trip so that a group of parasitic rulers wastes the money of all Uruguayans.
