This Thursday marks the second day of the strike ordered by teaching unions in Córdoba, which harms and holds hundreds of thousands of students hostage in schools in the province.

After a Wednesday with little compliance (between 30% and 50% according to authorities), today marks the second day.

However, today there is something new. The Argentine Union of Private Teachers (SADOP) and UEPC Capital, set up a tent as an “Open Classroom”

in the center of the capital.

The measure will be carried out during the days of this Thursday and tomorrow Friday and is far from being a solution for the thousands of students who will not attend classes for the second day.

Patio Olmos shopping center.

Under the slogan “Let's defend what is yours, what is ours, that of everyone”, private teachers seek to take the demand out of schools and take it

to public space.

Among the main axes are: wage recomposition, due to the loss of purchasing power in the face of inflation; improvements in working conditions.

The unions invite teachers and society in general to come to the tent to participate in the activities and learn more about the state of joint negotiations with the government of Martín Llaryora.
