A new offensive by the Iranian regime once again had a full impact on the civilian population in Israel. Ballistic missiles launched during the night managed to break through anti-aircraft defenses and hit directly the cities of Arad and Dimona, in the south of the country, leaving dozens injured, including children, and causing scenes of destruction

in residential areas.

The Israeli emergency services confirmed that the number of victims far exceeds one hundred injured between the two cities, with several serious cases and people trapped in the rubble after the impact on buildings. The magnitude of the attack forced the deployment of multiple rescue teams that continued to work through the night to search for survivors.

In Dimona, one of the missiles hit an urban area close to sensitive facilities, leaving at least twenty people injured, mostly minor, although anxiety and significant material damage were also recorded. In Arad, the impact was direct on inhabited structures, causing fires and partial collapses

.

The episode raised an even greater alarm inside Israel because of a critical fact: air defense systems were activated, but they failed to intercept the missiles before they hit the ground. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that they have already begun an investigation to determine what went wrong with the protection system, considered until now one of the pillars of the country's security

.

The Home Front Command ordered the population to stay in shelters and strictly comply with official instructions, while educational activities were suspended and emergency measures were reinforced throughout the territory. The decision reflects the level of seriousness of the situation and the fear of new waves of attacks

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the day as one of the most difficult since the beginning of the conflict and assured that the Government will provide all necessary assistance to those affected. In addition, he confirmed that Israel will continue its offensive against its enemies, in a sign that the military escalation is far from stopping

.

In parallel, the crisis began to spread in the region. Saudi Arabia ordered the expulsion of Iranian diplomats within 24 hours, in a move that shows how the conflict already transcends direct confrontation with Israel and threatens to further destabilize the

Middle East.
