The Chilean government, headed by President José Antonio Kast, is making firm progress in its migration control policy, with concrete measures that are already beginning to show results in the first weeks of administration. According to official data, more than 2,180 illegal immigrants have left the country since the arrival of the new government, with some of them avoiding forced expulsion processes

.

The Executive's strategy combines incentives for voluntary departure with a tightening of expulsion measures. Within this framework, the first deportation flight took place, which transported 40 people to countries such as Colombia, Bolivia

and Ecuador.

The government highlights that these actions are part of a comprehensive plan that seeks to regain control of the borders and organize the migratory system, after years of mass irregular entry. In addition, the authorities pointed out that there is a universe of more than 44,000 foreigners with current expulsion orders, which anticipates a continuity in this type

of operation.

One of the most relevant data is the drop in clandestine revenues, which registered a significant decrease compared to previous years. This indicator is presented by the ruling party as a sign that control policies are beginning to have an effect, both in deterring irregular entry and in regulating the system

The government's approach is based on the idea that the migratory order is a necessary condition to guarantee the internal security and functioning of the State. In this regard, Kast has insisted that those who enter irregularly must leave the country or face expulsion processes, in a position that marks a turning point compared

to previous administrations.

Although the measures generate debate at the political and social levels, the Executive maintains that these are necessary decisions to restore sovereignty and state control over the territory. With new deportation flights planned and permanent monitoring of the migratory situation, Chile is entering a new phase where migration policy becomes one of the central axes of

government.
