In the last few hours, a version that linked Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo to an alleged decision to stop following the streaming channel OLGA began to circulate on social networks in their official accounts.

The rumor quickly settled and generated a strong debate between users and followers of the channel, as many interpreted the gesture as a reaction to some comments made by members of the streaming about the soccer player.

As speculated on social media, the alleged unfollow was related to comments from Nati Jota and Lucas Fridman about the visit that the captain of the Argentine National Team made to Donald Trump in the United States, as part of a recognition granted to Inter Miami after becoming a member of Major League Soccer.

However, the controversy took a turn when Yanina Latorre decided to investigate the issue and clarify the situation on the SQP (América TV) program

.

During the program, the journalist explained that the rumor that was circulating on social networks was not correct.

As he explained, Messi never stopped following OLGA because in reality he had never followed the channel's account.

“There are two things. Today I found out: Messi never followed OLGA's account. He did follow Migue, and he's still following him. The one who did follow him was Antonela, but she can't remember if she stopped following him or not,”

Latorre explained.

The host also noted that the theme began to be installed on X (formerly Twitter) and quickly scaled up on social networks, generating reactions within the channel itself.

“This came out of X, a lot of us debated it and Migue got angry,” he added

.

In this way, the information that circulated about an alleged distance between the football player and the streaming was relativised.

The origin of the controversy dates back to Lionel Messi's visit to the White House with the Inter Miami squad, after becoming champion of the MLS in 2025.

During that match, the team was welcomed by then-President Donald Trump, in what represented institutional recognition to the American club.

The images of the meeting quickly went viral and generated divided reactions on social networks. While some celebrated the gesture, others questioned the presence of the Argentine captain at that event
