Through his Instagram account, he shared a series of photographs from his return to the English club and surprised everyone with a particular comparison to one of his teammates.
“Back to training. The transplant worked quickly, we look the same, Dominik Szoboszlai”, Mac Allister humorously wrote. The reference pointed to the Hungarian footballer from Liverpool, who is known for having longer hair.

The joke initially confused some of his followers, who began to wonder if the result of the hair transplant could have been so quick. Minutes later, the post started circulating on social media and led to all kinds of comparisons and memes.

“The confidence of an elite athlete reflects the commitment, experience, and dedication with which we work every day”, Calero expressed after the intervention became public.

Before the center confirmed the procedure, Mac Allister himself had already humorously talked about his hair and acknowledged that he was considering getting a transplant after the World Cup.
“I was a bald guy with hair, now I'm a bald guy, with a bald head. I said I did it for my dad, but I think it's more for my daughter”, he expressed during an interview with AFA Studio, ahead of the World Cup.
In that conversation, the former player of Argentinos Juniors and Boca also hinted at what his plans were once the competition was over. “I'm happy, I feel like it's better than before. Let's see if after the World Cup we plant a little... Let's see if there's a little trade”, he joked.
