The future of Save Yourself Who Can (SQP) and LAM is under scrutiny following the sale of Mandarina Contenidos, the production company founded by Mariano Chihade. Amid inquiries about the continuity of the programs on América TV, Yanina Latorre and Ángel de Brito addressed the situation from their respective platforms.
While Latorre assured that she will continue working and will take some time to evaluate her next steps, De Brito responded via Instagram. Both questioned the circulating rumors and avoided confirming any decisions about their professional futures.

This Thursday, Yanina Latorre spoke about the uncertainty generated by the sale of Mandarina Contenidos and mentioned that she received numerous messages and calls asking what will happen with her program. The host clarified that, for now, she has not made a decision and will wait before defining her next steps.
“Everyone is calling me, I appreciate it. There are many things being said that are just nonsense. This is a negotiation between channels, between businessmen that exceeds us,” she expressed on the air of Save Yourself Who Can.
The host also recounted that she learned about the operation while she was doing the program. When asked about her future, she emphasized that she will continue with her usual activities while analyzing the available alternatives.
“Guys, I’m going to take some time, I will continue with my work because I am here on Save Yourself Who Can on América TV and on the radio, and I will wait,” she stated.

“I’m listening to offers, I have offers, which I appreciate, and I’m going to take my time to think about what is best for my production team, my panel, and myself, because this will continue all together wherever it is, somewhere,” she affirmed.
For his part, Ángel de Brito, who is on vacation, chose to express himself through a post on Instagram. The host thanked the messages he received after the sale of the production company was announced and hinted that he will speak with more details when he returns to LAM next month.
Referring to the rumors that circulated about the situation, De Brito also questioned the information he deemed false. “Also, let me tell you that they are inventing a lot of nonsense. The rest is fruit,” he wrote.

For now, the host has not confirmed any changes in the continuity of the show nor anticipated a decision regarding his professional future.
