However, subsequent tests confirmed a more complex condition: an external meniscal syndrome that will require surgical intervention.
The operation is scheduled for the coming days and, according to the timeline managed by the club, the defender may not return until the preseason that River will hold in Spain starting June 21. The idea is for him to complete the final stage of his recovery there and be available to the coaching staff again.
