The Minister of Economy, Luis "Toto" Caputo, used the video of the Kirchnerist journalists Diego Iglesias and Ernesto Tenembaum, where they talked about the successful economic model of Hong Kong, to compare it with the initiatives of the Government of Javier Milei in Argentina and highlight the success of the pro-market reforms implemented in China.
During an event of the Chamber of Exporters of the Argentine Republic, the official presented the case as an example of the policies that are also being implemented in the country.
Caputo referred to a conversation in which Diego Iglesias was analyzing with Tenembaum the strong economic growth of China and sought to explain the reasons behind the country's transformation.
The Kirchnerist journalist, who mistakenly thought that the growth was a result of the socialist model, was debunked live and was taught the pro-market measures adopted in the Asian country to generate economic growth and development.

“What we are doing was very well explained yesterday, although using another example, by a Kirchnerist journalist who was in China,” Caputo stated during his presentation.
Then, the minister made a direct comparison between the process described in the program and Milei's economic program. “If you change the name of the city to Argentina, you will see that the explanation given is perfect,” he asserted.
