The health of Chiche Gelblung continues to raise concern after it was revealed that he has been hospitalized in intensive care for six days. The renowned host remains under strict medical observation while specialists assess how his condition is evolving.
According to reports in recent hours, everything began after a domestic accident he suffered at home. The blow caused a severe injury to his face and, subsequently, the journalist reportedly suffered a decompensation that led to his hospitalization at the Sanatorio Mater Dei.
What was said about Chiche Gelblung's health
One of the first to provide updated information was journalist Pablo Montagna, who shared details through his social media.
“Concern continues for the health of Chiche Gelblung. He remains hospitalized in intensive care,” he wrote on his X account.
Additionally, he explained how the host has been doing in recent hours. “He spent the night in pain, but he is stable, awake, and communicating. In the absence of his primary physician in the country, there will be a crucial medical board to determine the next steps,” he detailed.
Chiche would want to go back to work after being in intensive care.
“The entire medical board is a team of specialists convincing Chiche that he needs to stay there because what he wants to do is go back to work,” he added.
The blow he suffered before being hospitalized
Days before the severity of the situation became known, Chiche Gelblung had appeared publicly on his television program after the domestic accident.
In that broadcast, it was noticeable that he was wearing yellow glasses and that he had a significant bruise on his face from the blow he had suffered.
However, as hours passed, his condition reportedly worsened, and he ultimately had to be hospitalized for more thorough monitoring.
It is the second time this year that the driver has been hospitalized.
So far, the sanatorium has not released an official medical report on the journalist's clinical condition. According to reports, the hospital will only provide public information if the family formally authorizes the medical staff to do so.
The reason why the Argentine television star continues to be closely monitored is that he turned 82 this year and, despite his vitality, is considered a high-risk patient.
