Opel officially presented the new Corsa GSE, a sporty and 100% electric version of the historic hatchback that shares platform and technology with the Peugeot E-208 GTI.
The model is part of Stellantis' sports strategy in Europe and recaptures the spirit of the classic Corsa GSi, now with electric mechanics and much more extreme performance.

The link between the Corsa and the Peugeot 208
The current generation of the Opel Corsa uses the same structural base as the Peugeot 208, as both brands are part of the Stellantis group.

What the engine of the new Opel Corsa GSE is like
The new sporty hatchback incorporates a front electric motor that develops 281 horsepower and 345 Nm of torque.
The mechanics are associated with front-wheel drive and a Torsen multi-disc limited-slip differential, designed to improve dynamic behavior.

Additionally, it features sport suspension with reduced clearance, high-performance brakes, and a specific tuning for the steering and pedals.
