In a context of reconfiguration of the international landscape, the National Government has taken a fundamental step to consolidate Argentina as a hub for the most sophisticated capital on the planet. The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, received Peter Thiel, the influential co-founder of PayPal and Palantir, on the fifth floor of the Ministry of Finance to deepen a strategic alliance that transcends commercial interests and is at the heart of the new geopolitics of freedom.
Accompanied by the Secretary of Economic Policy, José Luis Daza, and the President of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA), Santiago Bausili, Caputo described the meeting as an “Excellent meeting”, where “numerous topics of current economic and geopolitical relevance” were discussed. This meeting adds to a series of high-level contacts that the libertarian magnate has maintained with the national administration since his arrival in April, including direct meetings with President Javier Milei.

The fascination of Peter Thiel for the Argentine transformation process is not coincidental. According to sources with direct access to the presidential office, the businessman believes that Argentina under Milei “can be a refuge in the event of a world in crisis”. This vision is shared by other figures in Thiel's circle, such as Alejandro Oxenford, Argentine ambassador to the United States, who revealed that the magnate was “impressed” by libertarian ideas, stating that “he believes that Javier Milei's ideas are as globally relevant as they are for Argentina”.
Thiel's interest has been institutional and sustained. On April 23, he participated in a key summit with President Milei and Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno, which also included Matt Danzeisen, portfolio manager of Thiel Capital LLC, and Matias Van Thienen, partner at Founders Fund. Recently, presidential advisor Santiago Caputo also had an exchange with the businessman to analyze the technological dynamics and the strategic positioning of the country in the new world order.

Towards the "Super RIGI"
To capitalize on this interest from leaders in Silicon Valley, the Government is preparing a legislative offensive that promises to revolutionize the business climate: the “super RIGI”. This new bill, which will soon be sent to Congress, aims to surpass the benefits of the current Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI) to attract still undeveloped technological and strategic sectors.
Among the technical details of this fundamental piece of the economic architecture of Freedom are:
